Tiers & Limits
Conduit offers three subscription tiers. The app works fully in local mode without an account, with unlimited features. Tiers apply when you sign in and use cloud-connected capabilities.

30-Day Free Trial
Both the Pro and Team plans include a 30-day free trial with a credit card required. During the trial you get full access to every feature in that tier — no restrictions.
- Each user can trial one plan (Pro or Team, not both). Once a trial has been used, the option is no longer available.
- Team trials are capped at 3 seats. You can add more seats after converting to a paid subscription.
- Conduit shows toast warnings at 7, 3, and 1 days before the trial ends so you have time to decide.
- If you do nothing, the trial converts to a paid subscription automatically. Cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Where to start a trial
Free-tier users see a “Start Free Trial” prompt in the sidebar, the Settings Account tab, and whenever an upgrade gate appears (e.g. AI chat, MCP, connection limits). You can also start a trial from the pricing page on the website.
Team Features
The Team tier includes shared team vaults with zero-knowledge encryption, folder-level permissions, and a full audit trail of all vault activity. Audit logs are retained for 2 years and automatically purged after that period.
Downgrade Behavior
If you downgrade to a lower tier and exceed its connection limit, your oldest connections remain accessible. Newer entries beyond the limit are locked — they display a lock icon with dimmed styling and cannot be opened.
- Locked entries can be deleted to free up slots.
- Active sessions on locked entries auto-disconnect with a notification.
Local Mode
Running Conduit without an account provides unlimited access to all features. There are no restrictions on connections, AI is available via built-in models, and all vault features work locally. No sign-in required.
Offline Support
Tier capabilities are cached locally. If you lose internet connectivity, previously unlocked features continue working. AI chat requires an internet connection, but all local connections work offline.
